Payment Gateway Setup

Payment gateway setup and integration for online stores

Payment Gateway Setup

If customers can’t pay you smoothly, they won’t pay you at all. We set up and configure payment gateways carefully, then test them so you know they are ready to process transactions.

Common Problems We Fix

Why This Happens

Payment gateways require precise configuration – API keys, currency settings, webhook connections, and security certificates all need to be set up correctly for transactions to process smoothly. A single incorrect setting, an expired API key, or a gateway left in test mode can silently block real payments, even when the checkout page looks completely normal to the store owner.

Many businesses don’t discover a payment issue until a customer reports it, by which point sales have already been lost.

How We Fix It

Gateway Assessment
We review your current payment setup or requirements to determine the right gateway and configuration for your business and region.
Integration & Configuration
We connect your chosen payment gateway, configure API keys, currency settings, and security requirements correctly.
Transaction Testing
We run test transactions across different scenarios to check that payments and refunds work as expected.
Security Verification
We check your setup against common security practice, such as HTTPS, and that card details are handled by the gateway and not stored on your site.
Final Handover
We confirm the setup works in your live environment, with documentation on how your payment setup works.

What You Get

Why It Matters

A failed or broken payment process does not just lose one sale. It damages customer trust. For businesses processing online payments, a smooth and secure checkout is the final step where revenue is either captured or lost. Getting this right protects your reputation as much as your revenue.

We work to make sure your payment process works when it needs to.

Frequently Asked Questions

Which payment gateways can you set up?

Stripe, PayPal, Telr and other common gateways that work with WordPress and WooCommerce. If you are unsure which one fits your business, we explain the options.

Can you get my payment gateway account approved?

No. Account approval is decided by the gateway provider, based on your business and documents. We can tell you what is commonly asked for, and we connect the gateway to your website once your account is approved.

Why are my payments failing?

Common causes are wrong API keys, test mode left on, currency settings, expired credentials, or webhook problems. We check each one.

Can you switch my gateway from test to live mode?

Yes. We check your live credentials and settings, run a final test, and switch to live mode with you.

Do you set up refunds and partial payments?

Yes. We check that refunds and partial payments work as far as your gateway allows.

Is it safe? Do you see my customers’ card data?

No. Card details are entered on the secure fields or page of the gateway and handled by the gateway. We do not need your customers’ card details, and we never ask for your own card numbers.

How does no fix, no fee work?

If we cannot fix the payment setup problem we agreed on, you do not pay. It does not apply to monthly support plans, and not where the cause is outside our control, such as a decision by the payment gateway or Telr, an unapproved gateway account, an expired license, or access we are not given.

What do you need from me?

A description of the problem, a screenshot of the error, and admin access to your site when we are ready. Never send card numbers or your gateway password in a message. We will tell you a safe way to share access.
